Lucky seven

Hello again. It has been seven fun filled months since my release from the condo. I've just grown, grown, grown. For example, when I was much younger and much more immature (four months) I was just in a size 2 diaper. I've now jumped to the size 4. When Daddy left, I was very comfortable in the size 1. Mommy keeps sending him pictures and DVD's of me to show him how I've grown, but she still thinks that he is going to "crap his pants" when he sees me in November. I know what the "crap his pants" means. I do that all of the time. But, what the heck is November??? I'm still learning.
Lots of things have happened since we last talked. I'm still eating big girl foods, but now, I'm in a fun high seat with a tray. I bang my spoon on it and make noise. It is tons of fun. Another fun high seat game is the one I like to call "how many times will Mommy pick up my spoon?". She does pretty well sometimes, but others she just gives up. Let me let you in on a secret: I can hold the spoon pretty well - I just like to 'accidently' drop it to play the game. Tricky huh?? It is fun to play with Mommy. I also play the "how loudly can I scream" game. Mommy is much less tolerant of that game. Apparently she doesn't think it is funny like I do. She doesn't like the "pull on Mommy's hair" game either. That was a bummer because that was my favorite. That's okay I guess. I'll just think of more games. I'm working on "splash the water when Mommy washes my hair". I'll let you know how that turns out. I need more practice.
I've had a couple of strange things happen lately. For example, the other day, Mommy tried to make me take a nap, so I was letting her know what I thought about that idea. During that time, I also play with my toys in the bed - you know, to pass the time while I'm trying to convince Mommy of her error. Anyhoo, all of a sudden, I was laying on my big ol' belly. I was just reaching for a toy and wham-o! Needless to say, I was not happy about this surprise. So I told Mommy about that too. She came in and fixed the tummy issue - then she left me there and I did it again. Soooooo not happy. Mommy came and got me then. I showed her what happened and she was so excited for me. So, I guess I can do it again.
The other strange thing going on is this gooey stuff coming out of my nose. It is gross. Mommy tries to take it out with a sucker device that I hate, hate, hate. The goo gets all in my face and stuff. Not very attractive at all. Mommy says it is just a little runny nose. Whatever. Just make it stop. She says it is because we are around more people now. People- shemple - stop the goo!!!
Mommy is going to see other kids all day - the big scary kids. I play with people more my size while she is gone. I play so much. It is great. Then Mommy is back before I know it- so that is okay. As long as someone coordinates my food and toys, I'm cool with it. I still have to take those silly naps, but I guess it is okay sometimes.
Mommy is getting excited for Daddy to come home. It is getting much closer. I'm excited too. I look at Daddy's pictures and smile and laugh. I wonder if he'll like any of my silly games. Mommy says that Daddy is silly like that too. She says that I got the loud scream game from him - especially when I play it when I am hungry. So, Daddy and I will have a lot to talk about when he gets back. Maybe we can pair up and play games with Mommy. I bet Daddy will think that is fun.
Well, I gotta go. Being seven months old just wears me out.
